I am an EU citizen (Bulgarian passport), currently in relocating to Budapest. I want to register as an egyéni vállalkozó (e.v.) for B2B engineering consultancy (ÖVTJ 711209), on átalányadó, with VAT exemption (AAM) expected.
I prefer an accountant based in Hungary (Budapest) with a physical office, so we can meet in person when needed (e.g. signing the power of attorney). A hybrid setup is fine.
Invoicing: mainly clients in Türkiye (non-EU, B2B), about 1–2 invoices per month — low transaction volume.
My priorities:
- Insurance is my main goal. I want to be full-time (főállású) and pay Hungarian TB contributions (járulék + szocho) from day one. I do NOT want an A1 certificate and have no active insurance in Bulgaria. I need monthly proof of contributions and an official record of my insured period (biztosított jogviszony).
- I want to START AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I will only have my own apartment (and Hungarian lakcím) in about 10 days, so I would like to register the e.v. now using a székhelyszolgáltató for the seat, and sort out my personal lakcím + TAJ once I have the apartment.
Please send an itemised quote:
- One-time setup fee (what it covers)
- Monthly accounting fee
- Extra fees, if any: NAV/TB, HIPA, chamber registration, VAT/AAM, annual return
- Estimated total monthly járulék + szocho I will pay as a full-time e.v. on átalányadó, even with zero income (2026 figures)
- Fee for closing (megszüntetés) and for suspension (szüneteltetés), including final/záró declarations
- Any minimum contract term
Questions:
- Do you have a physical office in Budapest where we can meet when needed?
- Can we register the e.v. now with a székhelyszolgáltató, so my insurance starts immediately, and handle lakcím + TAJ later? Can you recommend a reliable, Pmt.-compliant székhelyszolgáltató?
- With the 2026 transition (NAV Vállalkozói Ügysegéd / chamber), which system will we use to register this week, and is it fully operational now?
- For my invoices to Türkiye (non-EU, B2B), how should VAT be handled under AAM, and do I need a közösségi adószám?
- Is TAJ application included in your support? As an EU citizen, do I apply separately or is it automatic on registration?
- For the power of attorney, I don't have two witnesses here. Can I sign it at your office with your staff as witnesses, or should I use a közjegyző (notary) instead? Which format do you require?
