- Brief description of the company’s activity (activities):
We are a small social media management company (revenue around 100million HUF/year), so we work with influencers online to improve their earnings and receive a commission. Our workforce is mostly online contractors from overseas. We conduct most of our operations in EUR and USD, as our clients are EU and sometimes extra-EU. We are a lean company and do essentially everything online, so we are looking for an accountant that is familiar with cross-border deals, global VAT, etc.
We would also need them to handle our personal taxes, as two Italian expats now living in Budapest.
- What is the expected revenue for 2025?
We closed last year (2024) with about 160.000 euros in revenue. We expect our next years to be around
200k euros. Since we founded the company mid-2025, it should be around 150k euros in 2025. This
depends on actual performance, but we expect the range to remain consistent.
- How many expected outgoing invoices does the company issue on average per month?
Currently, we average 8 outgoing invoices per month. Fluctuates between 5 and 15.
- How many expected incoming invoices does the company receive on average per month?
Currently, between 20 and 30 invoices per month for our online contractors. We also pay some online
services that come out to around 10-20 invoices per month, depending on the month. Total 30-50
incoming invoices per month.
- What is the expected volume of cash transactions? (How many petty cash items, number of cash
invoices?)
We do not usually have any physical cash transactions.
- How many account-holding banks does the company use?
Currently one with Erstebank. Planning on opening a Wise Business account.
- How many bank accounts will be, and what types (HUF, EUR, etc.)?
Erste is HUF, EUR and USD. Wise Business will likely be similar.
- Approximately how many banking transactions are there per month?
Summing up outgoing and incoming invoices, around 40-50 on average.
- Will be there any other financial services used (e.g., SimplePay, courier service settlements,
etc.)?
Not currently planned.
- What kind and volume of foreign currency (FX) or cash movements will be?Most of our operations are done in foreign currency (EUR, USD). We don’t anticipate that we’ll be doing
transactions in HUF, apart from paying ourselves (2 shareholders) a living wage.
- What kind of fixed assets does the company plan to have? What will be the value of the fixed
assets?
We currently do not have any fixed assets. We use our personal electronic devices + some online
software, but I wouldn’t say that those qualify as company fixed assets.
- Do you plan to have loans or leasing contracts? If yes, what types of loans? Are regular reports
required for the loans?
We are not planning on taking out loans or leasing contracts. We may explore deducting part of our home office rent (since we work out of our apartment), depending on residency rules. We’ll discuss this during setup. We don’t anticipate needing any reports.
- Is there any grant or funding project ongoing, planned, or under application? Are regular reports
required for the grants?
No.
- How many employees will the company have (how many permanent and how many under
simplified employment contracts)?
Me and my co-founder will be the only fixed employees. All our other workforce is through foreign
independent online contractors. We are open to discussing whether there is a more optimal way to
structure our operations, but I believe that this is the simplest.
- Will there be any special payroll requirements (e.g., shifts, bonuses)? Any additional benefits
(bonuses, premiums, travel expenses, private pension fund, health fund, SZÉP card, others)?
No special payroll requirements, we only pay the contractors’ invoices.
